In the park, you’ll find Grab N Go stands around the arena. They offer healthy food options as well as some delicious vegan choices. You can enjoy one of their veggie wraps if you want a traditional meal. Otherwise, go for one of their salads with Italian dressing. They also offer veggie plates for a variety of vegan friendly foods. You can find the Grab N Go in sections 108, 162, 506 and 550.
Cleats Chicken and Burgers
Cleats Chicken and Burgers may not sound like the name of a vegan spot, but this stand still lets customers pick from delicious vegan choices. They grill their veggie burger up right, making even some forget that it’s animal-free. You can also get snacks from this stand like peanuts and candy that don’t contain any animal products. You can get french fries here, as with most stands in the park. They offer soda and beer as well. You can find Cleats Chicken and Burgers in section 164.
The Town Hall right outside downtown Cleveland serves as one of the best places to eat vegan in the city. Not only that, but you can find it about a mile away from Progressive Field.
Start off your meal right with an appetizer. Choose from a spiced bar mix including nuts, raisins, and corn nuts, a spicy and sweet garlic chili flavored edamame plate, or plenty of other options that you can request without animal products. Their smashed guacamole with chips and stuffed banana peppers also serve as excellent sides.
As for entrées, they offer bowls, flatbreads, soups, salads, sandwiches, and more traditional dinner plates. If you want a bowl, try their Thai peanut bowl or basil fried rice. For flatbreads, the classico and westside market veggie can come vegan made if you ask. They have a delicious vegan chili and a “creamy” vegan butternut squash soup. For desert, you can even try a vegan cookie.
Again, sushi isn’t usually a term vegans love to hear, but Sushi 86 aims to provide food to people of all dietary preferences. They even have a separate menu for vegans and vegetarians. Plus, it’s conveniently located right next to the arena.
If you decide to go to Sushi 86, you’ll find veggie roles and sides that satisfy your cravings. They offer avocado, asparagus, sweet potato, and green been rolls. For sides, you can’t go wrong with miso, Inari, or edamame soup.
The Flaming Ice Cube
The Flaming Ice Cube offers what VegNews Magazine calls one of the best veggie burgers in the United States. They also offer some of the most delicious vegan soups you can think of, like sweet potato peanut butter bisque, russian cabbage, or black bean corn salsa. You can even add them on Facebook to see all the deals they offer.
No matter what you choose to eat, you’ll love these options. Don’t let your dietary preferences and restrictions hold you back. Stay full and enjoy the game!
